We are seeking experienced Structural Engineers or Surveyors to join our team in the UK. This role is critical in providing expert site assessments, consultations, and coordination to deliver successful projects to our clients.
Required Qualifications and Memberships
Structural Engineer (Must have one of the following):
1. M.I.C.E - Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers
2. F.I.C.E - Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers
3. A.M.I Struct E - Associate Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers
4. M.I. Struct E - Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers
5. F.I. Struct E - Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers
6. M.A.S.I - Member of the Association of Structural Engineers
7. F.A.S.I - Fellow of the Association of Structural Engineers
8. M.C.I.O.B - Member of the Chartered Institute of Building
9. F.C.I.O.B - Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building
10. M.C.A.B.E - Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers
11. F.C.A.B.E - Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers
Chartered Building Surveyor (Must have one of the following):
1. M.R.I.C.S. - Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
2. F.R.I.C.S. - Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors
Role and Responsibilities
1. Conduct detailed site visits to assess structural conditions and building integrity.
2. Provide consultation services to clients, offering expert advice on project viability, compliance, and structural requirements.
3. Take and document precise building measurements to inform project designs and planning.
4. Collaborate with operational staff to ensure the seamless execution and delivery of projects.
5. Maintain adherence to UK building regulations and standards in all recommendations and solutions.
Qualifications and Skills
1. Must possess one of the memberships listed above (Mandatory).
2. Proven experience in structural engineering or building surveying roles.
3. Strong knowledge of UK building codes, industry standards, and best practices.
4. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and coordination with teams.
5. Ability to travel for site visits and client meetings as required.
Compensation
This position is for surveying who will be visiting the client site and compensation is according to the miles an engineer will be covering:
The company is paying according to the following pattern to its surveyors: £30,000 to £40,000 per Annum.
