Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for a new challenge in the IT & Telecoms sector? Construo Recruitment are recruiting a dynamic and results-driven IT / Telecoms Account Director to manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients across the Midlands region.
About the Role
As an IT / Telecoms Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately (Apply online only) customers, ensuring the renewal of their existing services while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products. This is a field-based role requiring a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and expand a portfolio of existing customers, driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
2. Achieve monthly targets for gross profit, customer retention, and product penetration.
3. Renew customer contracts while focusing on increasing service adoption.
4. Prepare and deliver professional proposals and tailored presentations to clients.
5. Identify service gaps and increase product penetration across the customer base.
6. Oversee the full sales cycle, from needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
7. Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
8. Regularly review customer accounts using CRM tools to ensure optimal service utilization.
9. Demonstrate flagship products effectively to clients.
10. Report on productivity and performance KPIs monthly.
11. Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
What We're Looking For:
1. Minimum 2 years of field-based account management experience.
2. Leasing experience is essential.
3. A proven track record of professional growth and success in a sales-driven environment.
4. Strong organizational skills with a results-oriented mindset.
5. Experience delivering compelling presentations in person and online.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
7. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
