Part Time Finance Manager

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing firm based in the Wirral area who are looking to appoint a Part Time Finance Manager on a permanent basis.
The successful applicant will act as the business partner for the division, ensuring transactional and compliance processes, along with monthly accounts packs are completed to a high standard.
Key duties include:
* Oversee work of transactional team and Assistant Accountant to maintain data integrity
* Preparation (and further development) of the month-end management accounts pack and ledger management
* Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Management and analysis of the P&L including variance analysis with commentary
* Maintain Fixed Asset Register
* Daily bank reconciliations and cashflow management
* Proactively monitor and improve working capital
* Provide valuable insight to key senior stakeholders
* Finance point of contact for business units
* Prepare VAT returns & payments
* Prepare monthly payroll and pension submissions
* Reports and analysis as requested
* Development of key finance processes and control systems
Person specification:
* Qualified or qualified by experience
* Experience producing monthly management accounts
* Experience of balance sheet reconciliations
* Sound transactional experience
* Excellent communication and time management skills
