Main duties of the job Furness General Hospital provides an active acute thrombolysis service (with thrombectomy provided at Royal Preston Hospital) and also makes use of the specialist Telestroke On-Call Service out of hours and at weekends. There is an opportunity to join the general medicine On-Call Rota, Telestroke On-Call rota, or both The post supports continued development of the Stroke Service and you will work alongside three existing Stroke Consultants, 1 x locum consultant as well as a wider Care of the Elderly Team and General Medicine colleagues.
