Unlock your passions @ Lowesmoor House Veterinary Centre
We are a Small Animal, 1st opinion practice located in the small but beautiful city of Worcester. There is plenty of city life within 15-20 minutes walk of the practice and the stations are also within 30 minutes walk. Being a small city and with the practice located on the northern edge, there is easy access to beautiful countryside, including the Malvern hills. Many of our team live in the surrounding villages as they prefer a more rural lifestyle.
We have a lovely, supportive team of 2 part time Vets, 2 full time RVNs and 1 SVN. We are very team focused, we all help and support each other to ensure our team is content at work and have the opportunity to enjoy their life outside work. This allows us to provide the caring, individually tailored service to our patients and their humans that we pride ourselves on. As a small team, we know our clients well and the bond of trust that is built as a result means the majority of our clients are happy, trust us and follow our recommended treatment plans.
We have a fantastic practice with great facilities and equipment such as acupuncture, slit lamp biomicroscope and tonopen Vet, multiparameter anaesthetic monitoring as routine, dental x-ray and ultrasound with cardiac capabilities. Within the team, we have certificate holder in Western Veterinary Acupuncture & Chronic Pain Management.
Your normal hours of work are 38 hours per week, 4 or 5 days a week. Due to the particular needs of the business we need to operate a rota system, therefore there are no normal times of work applicable to you and your daily hours, start and finish times will vary from time to time on a rota system. You are required to participate in a Saturday rota working 1 in 3 Saturday mornings.
Our graduate will be an addition to the Vet team rather than a replacement, with a view to growing the practice as our grad grows. As a small team we will be able to tailor support and the pace of learning to our new graduate. There will be plenty of opportunity to carry out surgery and consults with direct supervision of our experienced Vets and we can reduce the supervision level at a rate that is right for the grad. Lowesmoor is truly a lovely practice to work at and our clients are supportive as well as the team.
