Senior Design Manager – Equestrian
Are you an experienced Senior Design Manager with a passion for equestrian projects? We’re seeking a top-tier candidate to join Qiddiya in Saudi Arabia and take on a key role in designing and delivering world-class equine and sports facilities.
About the Role:
As a Senior Design Manager – Equestrian, you will be at the forefront of innovative equestrian and sports developments, ensuring the highest design standards from concept to completion. Reporting to the Senior Director (Planning & Design), you’ll oversee projects such as Polo and Equestrian Centres/Clubs, working closely with internal and external teams to deliver iconic, high-quality venues.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the design process, ensuring alignment with project goals
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to create world-class equine facilities
* Oversee all design aspects, including architecture, interiors, landscape, and specialist inputs (lighting, acoustics, security, IT, etc.)
* Ensure compliance with sustainability, health, and safety standards
* Manage design consultants to ensure deliverables are on time and meet quality expectations
* Support the development team with permitting, contractor management, and construction coordination
Requirements:
* 9-12+ years of design management experience, with a strong background in equestrian and sports developments
* Degree in Architecture, Design, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field
* Please note that this is a relocation opportunity to Saudi Arabia
* Expertise in BIM 360, AutoCAD, and other architectural tools
* Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-profile environment
