The key responsibilities and duties of the Disassembly Technician include, but are not limited to:
1. Disassemble customer landing gears I.A.W the manufacturer instructions (CMM)
2. Avoid additional damage and work with team to communicate required improvements to tooling and processes
3. Work to tight deadlines
4. Control of personal and company tools
5. Awareness and understanding of LTLGS computer based MOE (IQMove)
6. Uphold housekeeping standards
7. Report to Leading Hand / Team Leader if damage occurs so that improvements can be investigated
8. Embrace an open reporting culture
9. Participate and contribute to team dialog meetings
10. Carry out missing and damaged inspections
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
11. GCSE A-C (or equivalent) in relevant subjects
12. Engineering qualification (desirable)
13. Apprenticeship in mechanical assembly/disassembly (preferred)
14. Experience with hand tools, PPE, overhead cranes, and forklifts (advantageous)
15. Team player, good communicator, reliable, and trustworthy
16. Able to work independently, follow instructions, and prioritize safety & quality
17. Good manual dexterity
Working Conditions:
18. Flexible hours, including weekend overtime
19. Training on overhead cranes
20. Heavy lifting of aircraft components
Additional Requirements:
21. Must have the right to live/work in the UK
22. Must be willing to work shifts
