JOB SUMMARY
The core role of the Events and Youth Programs Manager - EMEA is to plan, execute and manage all in person and virtual events as part of the team’s mission to enable Marriott International and its brands to attract, engage, educate and retain world class talent.
Key Responsibilities
1. Establish relationships with ADHRs and Hotel HR leaders at a country level to understand their recruitment needs and propose solutions through our Recruitment Events service offering
2. Take ownership of organizing localized Recruitment Events (both virtual and in-person) to supply our Managed and Franchised hotels with suitable candidates providing them maximum source market exposure and connecting them with candidates interested in pursuing their career with Marriott International.
3. Managing end-to-end recruitment and youth virtual/in person events including identifying the best fit offering based on needs, sourcing hotel and event venues and contracting, managing registration, candidate communication, marketing the event, promoting within local tertiary education institutions, event execution, billing where applicable
4. Researching, establishing relationships and contributing to growing our network of key tertiary education institutions that can be included in our virtual engagement outreach (Online Events, Email Campaigns) for youth program and recruitment events particularly in markets with the demand
5. Design and develop a calendar of attractive Marriott Managed youth events in collaboration with the University Relations Manager
6. Develop compelling marketing content to promote youth and recruitment events through the use of Canva and other tools, ensuring alignment with target audience and brand standards
7. Dedicated expert for the virtual recruitment platform
8. Tracking key event metrics and reporting to data analytics team
9. This role includes 25% travel time.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Experience
10. 1-3 years event planning and marketing experience.
11. Project management experience.
12. Experience and/or strong interest in the field of talent acquisition in Europe, Middle East and/or Africa an advantage.
13. Experience managing medium to large size projects and/or leading process improvement efforts.
14. Recruitment experience would be an advantage.
15. Experience working with youth would be an advantage.
16. Bachelor’s degree in events management, human resources, or related field.
