KS4 Leader - Engineering

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, dynamic, motivated and able Key Stage 4 Leader - Engineering to join our Technology department. We are looking for an excellent practitioner to work collaboratively with the department to deliver outstanding lessons and develop the wider curriculum, raising academic achievement and ensuring all pupils make outstanding progress in engineering at Key Stage 4.
The successful candidate will be:
§ Able to inspire pupils of all abilities within Engineering to achieve their highest potential.
§ In conjunction with the Head of Department, develop a team of specialists ensuring outstanding practice across the department.
§ Committed to delivering consistently outstanding teaching and ability to share your practice with others in a constructive and collaborative manner.
§ Able to contribute to the development of the department by implementing new initiatives, monitoring and reporting on key outcomes within your area of specialism.
§ Responsible and be accountable for pupil attainment and achievement within your area, by tracking pupil progress and supporting individual pupils’ learning needs.

Crofton Academy, part of Castleford Academy Trust, is an 11-16 mixed comprehensive of over 1,000 pupils offering a broad and balanced curriculum.
