We have an exciting opportunity to join Southdown as a CQC Registered Service Manager in a vibrant Supported Living service in Chichester.
Windebanks is a purpose-built modern service providing support and personal care for 5 adults with a learning disabilities. All the clients are supported to have maximum choice and control so they can live their best life in the least restrictive way possible.
We are looking for a candidate who will maintain an excellent standard of practice, is brilliant with people and can help our clients and staff thrive.
Some of the people who use these services may present some challenges or have complex health needs and the manager needs experience in supporting staff to work professionally and compassionately under these circumstances.

Key Responsibilities
To be a successful manager in these services you will need:
* Experience as a Deputy Manager or above
* Experience of working with people with learning disabilities including those who challenge services
* A commitment to person centred individualised services
* Be an excellent communicator, with some understanding of Makaton or non-verbal communication desirable
* The ability to develop and support a committed team of staff
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* NVQ /Diploma Level 3 or above, and a commitment to undertaking further management training
* Understanding of CQC requirements – you’ll be the registered manager, with great organisational support including a central CQC compliance manager
