Position: Casual Support Worker Specialist Location: Gosport, Hampshire Hours: Zero contracted hours (Mon-Sun, including weekends, days, evenings, holidays and sleep ins) Salary: £16.35 per hour inclusive of holiday pay or £14.59 per hour exclusive of holiday pay Job ref: 4191 About the Role: We are seeking highly motivated Casual Support Worker Specialists to work in Gosport, Hampshire with the Support Manager and team to support our customers by delivering a 24-hour registered supported living service. This service supports 4 adults who have learning disabilities and mental health issues with complex behaviours. Advance will provide all the training and support needed for this role. Day to Day Activities: Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required) Medication administration (if required) Support with preparing and cooking meals Support with attending medical appointments Support with social activities Support with independent skills Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required Keeping up to date with your training Waking Night Activities: Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required) Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required) Medication administration (if required) Support with independent skills Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required Keeping up to date with your training Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry Advance offers opportunities for progression within the organization, with many Support Workers advancing to management roles or other areas of the business.
