Job description: We are looking to recruit a Transport Administrator to work with our client, a reputable supply chain provider based on their IKEA contract. This is a temporary-to-permanent position, running a 4 ON / 4 OFF shift pattern. The hours of work are 07:00 until 19:00. What will you do in a typical day? Work with the team on the 'trunk-line' side of the contract, helping to oversee the smooth running of the IKEA store deliveries. Regularly liaise with both drivers and site staff to ensure KPI's are met in line with the customers SLA agreement. Co-ordinate the transport operations to meet both customer and company expectations. Work alongside the Depot Manager to ensure the drivers rota's cover all required trunks. Debrief crews and communicate with the customer on any scheduling issues. Using the company CRM and other duties as required. If you are interested then please apply.
