Field Service Engineer
Covering South UK
OTE £65K including average overtime, paid door to door.
Basic Salary up to £39,000 basic DOE

LWS Services are proud to be the exclusive recruitment partner of an award-winning team who are global leaders within the Industrial Shredder equipment market. Due to expansion, there is now an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multiskilled Field Service Engineer to join their dynamic team.
Role & Responsibilities of the Multiskilled Field Service Engineer:
1. Travelling to customer sites, diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults and fixing industrial shredding machinery to ensure that customer downtime is kept to a minimum.
2. Inspections and services of shredders and recycling machinery.
3. Installing and commissioning shredder machinery newly delivered to customers.
4. Providing basic shredder operation and maintenance training to customer operators to ensure their ability to use shredders safely and effectively.
5. Frequent overnight stays (on average at least 3 nights per week).
6. Weekend work may be required on a Rota basis.
Field Service Engineer Essential Experience / Skills required:
1. Apprentice trained Electrical / Mechanical Engineer (Multi-Skilled).
2. Single or 3 phase Electrical qualifications or experience is essential.
3. Skilled in diagnosing and fixing electrical and mechanical machinery faults.
4. Worked with gearboxes and bearings.
5. Experience Installing and commissioning industrial machinery.
6. Full UK driving licence (ideally clean).
7. Flexibility is required in relation to working hours to ensure that jobs are finished.
Advantageous:
1. Experience of welding and burning.
2. Possession of a forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
Additional Package Information:
1. 40 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 08.00 to 17:00 and Friday 08:00-15:30 (45 mins for lunch each day).
2. 21 days' holiday pro rata (January - December holiday year) plus your birthday and bank holidays. This will increase by one day per year up to a maximum of 25 days' holiday plus birthday and bank holidays.
3. Specialist tools provided and a company van to complete your role effectively.

7. A company laptop, mobile phone, credit card and fuel card will be given to you to cover all company expenses while working away or on site.
8. A subsistence allowance of £25.00/night is also provided, and all accommodation costs will also be covered by the company.
