Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia and Critical Care
New post for clinical fellows in Anaesthesia, Critical Care in Snowdonia, North Wales.
Main duties of the job:
This is a full-time post with out of hours commitments. The job plan is negotiable, depending on individual’s interests and service requirements. A typical job plan will include:
* On-call commitment in anaesthesia/critical care/obstetrics depending on the candidates' competencies.
* Daytime clinical work including anaesthesia/critical care/obstetrics depending on the candidates' competencies.
* Professional development and teaching built into each of the above.
The appointment is subject to the national Medical and Dental Terms and Conditions of service. On-call rota will be 1 in 8.

Knowledge/Qualification:
Essential Criteria:
* MBChB or equivalent.
* Full registration with GMC.
Desirable Criteria:
* FRCA.
* ALS /ATLS/APLS or similar.
* Ionising Radiation Certificate.
* Member MDU/MPS or similar.
Skills And Abilities:
Essential Criteria:
* Has achieved appropriate level of core competencies.
* Completion of Foundation Program.
Desirable Criteria:
* ITU and obstetric anaesthesia experience.
* Experience in paediatric anaesthesia.
Experience:
Essential Criteria:
* At least 2 years post-graduate experience.
* Evidence of interest in Quality Improvement.
* At least six months anaesthetic experience in a training post.
Desirable Criteria:
* Anaesthetic experience in a broad range of specialities.
* Evidence of research relevant to Anaesthesia.
