Day-to-day of the role: Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement within the sales team. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to both new hires and existing staff. Create engaging learning materials such as presentations, manuals, and interactive activities. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics. Collaborate with sales team leaders to identify training needs and customise programs accordingly. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and effective. Provide one-on-one coaching and support to sales team members as needed. Monitor and report on the progress of trainees and the impact of training initiatives. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and skill development. Facilitate workshops, role-plays, and simulations to reinforce learning and improve performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role. Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to create engaging and effective training materials. Proficiency in using training software and tools. Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate outcomes. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
