A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend (Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to approx. £16.46.

Available Hours: We have a number of part-time opportunities for Support Workers to join our Riverside House Team.

About Residential Care:
Help older adults live their life how they choose and enjoy their later years. Support people to stay active and healthy by encouraging good nutrition and promoting fitness and mobility as well as supporting emotional wellness.
About the role:
As a Support Worker, you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.
No experience or qualifications are needed to get started. We will help and support you with fully paid training and development. If you do have experience, then take the next step in your career with us.

About Our Home:
Riverside House is based in Kendal, and we have the capacity to support up to 34 residents, providing care, security, and companionship for those with Dementia, old age, and the physically frail.
Working hours: This will typically involve working shifts which usually cover between 7am until 10pm (days) or 9.30pm - 7.30am (nights) over 7 days a week, including alternate weekends and Bank Holidays.

DBS: This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with a Adults Barred List check.
