Offering support to aspiring chefs within the kitchen Following menu instructions Preparing and plating of food menus following menu specifications Delegating tasks to catering assistants Designing menus according to dietary requirements for each event Stock control and handling deliveries Communicating with the team to ensure smoothness of service Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen Adhering to healthy and safety procedures Completion of all food requirements, including paperwork on site Creating, preparing and serving top quality food These responsibilities as a chef will ensure that you provide a fantastic service and contribute towards the business and the service. Skills & What we are looking for: Previous Chef experience at least up to Chef De Partie level within the last 2 years You will have at least 2 years background working as a chef Experience working at events type businesses Has the ability to prepare and cook food to order, as well as work from pre orders to bulk prepare dishes. Flexibility in shift patterns and can work on a variety of different shifts Has excellent communication skills Can demonstrate teamwork skills Level 2 food hygiene certificate (ideal but not essential as we can provide this at a cost), and food allergen certificates. Passionate about food Has the ability to work under pressure You will enjoy working with different people Due to certain locations a full UK driving license is required along with own access to a vehicle You will have your own chef whites and knives Happy to work within different environments and really add your own flare to businesses within your menus you will be creating, with the head chef You will have extraordinary attention to detail Can work within various environments You will have the skills to manage small teams in the head chef absence And MORE.
