Now part of the Genuit Groups’ Cimate Management Solutions (CMS) business unit, Nuaire has ambitious growth plans. The Role As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control systems, conducting inspections, audits, and analysing data to identify and resolve quality issues. Working hours: 37 per week. Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-4:30pm. Working style: Fully onsite. Responsibilities Quality Control Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality control systems and procedures. Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and inspections to monitor compliance. Product Inspection: Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products. Utilise various inspection techniques, including visual inspection, dimensional measurements, and functional testing. Identify and document any defects or non-conformities. Data Analysis: Collect and analyse quality data to identify trends and root causes of quality issues. Generate reports and present findings to management. Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality problems. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. Supplier Quality: Evaluate and qualify suppliers based on quality performance and delivery capabilities. Monitor supplier performance and address quality issues promptly. Requirements (Knowledge and Experience): Essential Time served in a manufacturing quality environment. BEng Hons in engineering discipline. ISO9001 internal audit qualified. Experience in driving business targets, as an individual and as a team. Demonstratable experience of problem solving with support of others through the process. Hold UK Driving Licence. Desirable Awareness of the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Appreciation of the construction industry requirements and regulations, such as BBA and SAP Developed and implemented strategies for cross-department activities. Demonstratable knowledge of APQP and PPAP requirements.
