As a Machine Driver/Operative in our Sandwell team you'll manage the acceptance of waste, control the traffic flow around site and load waste onto artic lorries using shovel loaders in a safe and timely manner. You’ll be entrusted to: To carry out the loading of all waste materials in and out of the site To assist with the traffic direction and efficient movement of vehicles on site whilst ensuring a safe working environment Responsible for the daily inspection, general maintenance and reporting procedure – of all plant and vehicles prior to and on completion of usage To understand Serco Contractual requirements - of refuse & recycling. Responsible for the cleanliness of the Eagle Recovery and Transfer Hub site – the building, plant, equipment, vehicle wash and general site area Does this sound like you?
