A respected Church of England School in Richmond is seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join our Humanities department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore religious and ethical questions through a Christian lens. About Our Learning Community: Our Church of England school values religious understanding and encourages students to explore faith and ethics. About the Role: Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-5, including GCSE and A-Level. Develop and implement lesson plans covering Christian theology, ethics, and world religions. Facilitate student-led discussions, debates, and presentations. Assess student progress through essays, presentations, and examinations. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the RE curriculum. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as religious studies clubs and interfaith dialogues. Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Religious Education or Theology. Extensive experience teaching RE at the secondary level, preferably in a faith school setting. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
