Deadline for applications: Tuesday 1 April, 12 noon GMT
Salary: £32,000 annually, pro rata
Working hours: 32 or 40 per week, flexible (see job pack for detail)
Contract terms: Fixed-term for two years. Extension dependent on funding.
Place of Work: Deveron Projects’ offices in Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
We’re looking for two passionate and practical Co-Producers to join our team here in Huntly for at least two years.
These new roles reflect our deeply collaborative approach within our team and with artists, communities and partners. Working across the organisation, from programme to operations, buildings to communications, the Co-Producers will be essential members of Deveron Projects, creatively and practically co-developing the work we make and how we make it.
It’s an exciting time to get involved. From Spring 2025 our programme of events, artists’ residencies and community-led learning will be driven by the themes of Home, Land and Community. Through these themes we will make collaborative and place-based artworks that aim to build social movements. We will connect communities and realise experimental, equitable organisational practices. Our work will broaden ideas of who and what makes art and culture in rural places.
We want to hear from you if you are curious, passionate and motivated, with experience, knowledge and networks that could support the development of at least one of our programme strands. This could include socially-engaged or contemporary arts practices, landwork, movement organising, community development, rural/local cultures or others. As much of our work is emerging and developing, including how we work together as a team, you must be comfortable proactively navigating uncertainty and complexity. It’s also essential that you are moved by our ambition and share our values of collaboration, community, rigour and solidarity. The full requirements of the role and the tasks each Co-Producer may hold are detailed in the job pack.
We are running informal 1:1 open sessions where you can meet with us and get a feel for the role, what it’s like to work/live here and ask any questions. You can book these here.
