Pay rate: £250 - £270 depending on experience

Are you a freelance Site Manager with experience working for a regional Main Contractor on Schools? If so, then this may be the perfect job for you.
Project:
The scheme consists of a new steel frame with brickwork extension to an education facility. You will also be responsible for the full internal fit-out, which will include full M&E installation.
Responsibilities:
1. Reporting into an on-site Project Manager.
2. Management and coordination of subcontractors.
3. Site safety, which will include but not be limited to running daily inductions, checking contractor RAMS, performing site inspections, and issuing permits to work.
4. Updating the Project Manager on progress.
5. Material ordering for the project.
The Successful candidate will have:
1. Proven experience in a similar role within the Residential Care industry.
2. Strong knowledge of construction processes and health and safety regulations.
3. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
4. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
5. Relevant qualification in construction management or related field.
6. CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid.
7. Enhanced DBS.
8. Recent workplace references.
