Join Lantern, a market-leading Debt Purchaser and Service Provider, as a Risk and Controls Officer and make a real impact on our customers lives As the Risk and Controls Officer you will be responsible for completing and overseeing line 1 risk and control management activity in support of the business, helping to mitigate customer and operational risks. Youll support the business by testing key controls and maintain evidence of control testing and action tracking of any issues raised. You will be required to: Maintain and deliver the annual operational control testing plan. Provide hands on activity to implement improvements identified and closure of any incidents raised. Provide support to the operations leader team in the identification of new emerging customer risks through customer journey and post change implementation reviews and help facilitate the delivery of Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) reviews with process owners across the operations team to gain timely completion. To conduct first line assurance activity through the testing and production of key controls within Operational areas. Support Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) activities for the business, including identifying actions to improve controls and mitigate customer risk. Provide accurate reporting of root cause for all control testing fails. Ensuring root cause actions are tracked to closure and retested post implementation. Drive customer experience improvements and identify issues or remedial action required through customer journey activity. Provide ad-hoc support across operational change activity such trials, small change, projects or new purchases where appropriate to ensure controls are articulated, documented and added to the test plan effectively. Identification and appropriate escalation of business risks following the incident reporting procedure. Assist with client audit preparation, including data collation of data and internal summaries of potential findings. Provide timely updates to MI for remedial actions completed by Customer Services.
