Job Description Machine Tool Maintenance Team Member Full-Time On-site Derby What you will be doing: An exciting opportunity has arisen within Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) for a Machine Tool Maintenance Team Member. The Engine Overhaul Services (EOS) facility is 35,000m2, with circa 650 employees, and operational for 20hrs a day, 365 days a year. As the only wholly owned Large Engine MRO facility, with capability to maintain all modern Trent engines, EOS is fundamental to the future success of Civil Aerospace. This role is responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs and planned maintenance on manufacturing assets and all associated production equipment within EOS, based in Derby. During your day-to-day activities, you will use precision diagnostic instruments and analyse equipment data to inform and implement the most effective approach towards maintenance. You will also be responsible for coordinating preventive and planned corrective maintenance activities with shop floor and office personnel Production Staff and interfacing with Production Leaders, Team Leaders, and Production Operators. You will also work with site Manufacturing Engineers to help understand and restore equipment performance to standard and support equipment OEM engineers as required. Responsibilities: Whilst in this role you will perform a range of routine, reactive, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance tasks. This incorporates a broad range of manufacturing assets and production equipment across EOS to ensure manufacturing equipment is safe, available, and reliable to a high-performance standard. You will also: Collect, organise, and analyse data in support of Key Performance Indicators for the Manufacturing Services Department as required. Read and interpret machinery and component drawings, circuit/logic diagrams & schematics, maintenance manuals, and parts catalogues to enable maintenance and diagnostics Utilise problem solving skills and ability to make sound recommendations based on judgement, training and previous experience. Process Work Orders and pull reports from the Computerised Maintenance Management System. Safely operate site specific equipment as required with appropriate training. Completed an advanced level engineering apprenticeship and an NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent.
