The role of the successful Computer Science Teacher will involve:
* Planning and preparing lessons and courses, assigning and grading work, reporting on student growth, progress, and achievement.
* Preparing students for exams, testing students in preparation for exams, documenting and reporting such evaluations, and attending meetings related to the administration of exams.
* Submitting reports, attending parents' evenings and interacting and consulting with parents and carers of students.
* Maintaining good order and discipline among the pupils you are teaching.
* Participating in departmental meetings and taking responsibility for noting points of action and forwarding copies to Headteacher and Department Heads.
* Working as a team member to define departmental policy and practice, implementing curricular initiatives, and preparing and constructing schemes of work, units of study, teaching methods, and assessment techniques.
* Contributing to the provision of resources and teaching materials and taking some responsibility for care of stock.
* Participating in appropriate administrative and organisational tasks in order to ensure the smooth running of the Department.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
