Geography Teacher - Cardiff - February Start
Prospero Teaching are working with a large secondary school in Cardiff who are seeking a full-time, temporary teacher of Geography to work in their school from after the half-term break in February until the end of the current academic year. You will be required to teach Geography to key stage 3 & 4 classes of varying academic abilities. You will be expected to deliver engaging and challenging lessons, mark the work, and provide regular feedback. Additionally, you will need to attend departmental meetings and be available for parents' evenings as they arise.
This role is open to ECTs and fully qualified teachers with QTS.

Minimum Rate of Pay: In line with your main pay scale
Hours: 8 am - 4 pm (term time only)
Experience, Training and Qualifications:
1. Qualified Teacher of Geography
2. Up-to-date knowledge of the National Curriculum
3. Experience teaching Geography at key stage 3 & 4
4. Hold a valid and recognised teaching qualification
5. Experience in secondary schools, either on a permanent or supply basis; the role is open to ECTs and more experienced teachers.
6. Commitment to the role in its entirety.
7. Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, training can be provided)
8. Up-to-date prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, training can be provided)
9. Up-to-date behaviour management and FGM training (essential, training can be provided)
10. Right to Work in the UK
11. Enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to process a new application
12. Provide a minimum of two professional references covering the last 2 years
