We are seeking a reliable and experienced Shuttle Driver to join our growing team. The Shuttle Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting plants and supplies to technicians working on various jobsites throughout London. This role requires a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to the service team. Daily Route Planning and Execution: Review daily delivery schedule and ensure all necessary plants and supplies are loaded onto the designated delivery vehicle (van) the day before each delivery. Drive to a designated drop off point in London to distribute plants to driving techs, Deliver plant materials and supplies to various customer sites throughout London according to the established delivery schedule. Ensure accurate delivery of all plants and supplies to the correct jobsite and technician. Obtain customer signatures upon successful delivery. Vehicle Maintenance and Safety: Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and overall vehicle condition. Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the delivery vehicle. Report any vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor. Waste Management: Upon completion of deliveries, return to the company location and unload the delivery vehicle of any waste materials generated during the delivery process. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to all clients, including courteous and professional interactions. Address any customer concerns or issues promptly and effectively. Maintain a positive and professional at all times. Other Duties as Assigned: Assist with other logistical tasks as needed, such as loading and unloading materials, inventory management, and general warehouse upkeep. This role will require you to attend our Head office in Henham each morning to collect the shuttle. Requirements Valid UK Driver's License with a clean driving record. Experience of driving in London is essential. Experience with commercial vehicle operation (vans) preferred. Excellent driving record with a focus on safety. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to lift and carry heavy objects. Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
