We are excited to be working with a market-leading, global FMCG business with a portfolio of fun and innovative brands in their search for a National Account Manager!
This business has achieved impressive growth over recent years due to successful NPD projects and acquisitions. With a current turnover of $1.9 billion, an exciting recent acquisition, and an impressive 7.9% YoY growth achieved, it couldn’t be a more exciting time to join the business!
Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing one of the business’s top-tier, high-profile retailers, managing a double-digit multi-million £ P&L.
What will you be doing?
1. Manage, network and develop relationships with a top-tier High Street retailer.
2. Collaborate with Senior Commercial team and Buyers to identify and grow opportunities within brands and categories.
3. Understand commercial impact – Pricing, promotions, and Investment etc.
4. Negotiate trading terms, pricing, range reset opportunities, JBP’s and cost increases where relevant.
5. Lead on exciting NPD projects in the pipeline as well as working collaboratively with Brand and Marketing on successful promotions and activations in store.
6. Develop, implement, and execute clear JBP’s with customer base ensuring focus on key measures for customer base and internal targets.
What will you need?
1. A minimum of 2 years experience within National Accounts within FMCG, ideally non-food FMCG.
2. Experience or interest within the toy/product industry.
3. Proven track record of growing existing business and winning new business.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate with key stakeholders at all levels of an organisation.
5. A positive and proactive attitude! Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and across functions.
