We are looking for a motivated individual to work within our UPS Team at a commercial vehicle depot in Southampton (SO15 0LW).
* Monday to Friday
* 17:00 - 22:00pm
* 25 hours a week
* £13 per hour
Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the safe movement of large vehicles around the depots.
* Ensuring the cleaning team hit wash targets.
* Request materials for the site.
* Carry out washing/valet cleaning as and when required.
* Maneuvering vehicles into wash areas, correct loading bays and parked ready for next operating service as per the UPS line up sheet.
* Supervise the cleaning by checking and maintaining high standards in the washing/cleaning of both exteriors and interiors of commercial vehicles.
* Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.
What are we looking for?
* Valid UK Clean Manual Driving Licence (can drive 3.5t vehicles).
* Experience with vehicle washing/shunting.
* Experience in a supervisor role.
* IT literate (use of tablet, smart phone apps).
* Good communication skills, both verbal and written (English).
