Senior Hardware Engineer – Kent
A leading medical device manufacturer is seeking a skilled electronics engineer to join their research and development team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the development of electronic solutions for various projects
* Provide critical electronic systems engineering input throughout the product design lifecycle
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mechanical, electronics, and software engineers
* Design, analyze, and test electronic systems
Required Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering (or higher)
* Proficiency in PCB Design & Layout
* FPGA design experience
* VHDL knowledge
* Analog and digital circuit design expertise
* Experience in the full design lifecycle
Desirable Qualifications:
* Embedded software development skills (C/C++)
* Knowledge of microcontrollers and peripherals
* Understanding of qualification standards (MIL, ESCC, ECSS etc.)
* Experience working in quality-controlled environments (Medical/Aerospace)

The estimated salary for this position is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
