This role is ideal for a skilled designer with a minimum of two years' experience in engineering. The successful candidate will possess strong manufacturing knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and an understanding of automotive electrics. Key Responsibilities Develop and design manufacturing data for insulated panel kit assemblies, ensuring robust and repeatable production methods using Inventor. Generate CNC cutting programmes for insulation panels, focusing on efficiency and minimal waste. Previous experience with CNC programming is not essential. Integrate aftermarket products, including cameras and solar panels, with vehicle conversion kits. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create "best method" solutions while improving product modularity and reducing complexity. Research and innovate for electric vehicles and battery-powered systems, addressing challenges such as power consumption and lightweighting.
