Exciting new opportunity to work at a historic development that has been regenerated into a large modern residential mixed-use development in Mill Hill. The Assistant will support the Development Manager in running day-to-day operations in terms of communication with residents, contractors, managing agents, and the freeholder, health and safety management, security, and reactive and planned maintenance scheduling.
If you are looking for a challenging variety in your working day and want to learn all about block management from facilities management, maintenance, finance, and the legal/compliance side of managing fire safety and health and safety to staff management, as well as customer service, then this role has everything you need to learn and challenge yourself.
Your duties will include:
1. Handling queries from leaseholders and contractors promptly and courteously.
2. Database maintenance and mail merges.
3. Ensuring all health and safety paperwork is up to date.
4. Checking that contractors' insurances and paperwork are in place.
5. Administering insurance claims.
6. Raising purchase orders.
7. Carrying out site visits and liaising with contractors.
8. Assisting with the smooth running of the office in dealing with residents and contractors.
You should have good IT skills, be able to multitask effectively, and have a keen eye for detail. Previous experience in the property industry would be preferable, although candidates with good transferable skills within property facilities management who can demonstrate excellent organisational skills, IT skills, and a strong work ethic will also be considered.
