What's the mission?
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer has the responsibility for maintaining site equipment and machinery. Main duties will be to provide fault diagnosis both mechanically and electrically as well as routine maintenance.
Core Skills Required: Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Machining, Fabricating and basic electrical skills (contactors, relays, motors, etc.)
You will be working a Continental 4 on 4 off shift pattern, (06:30 am – 6:30 pm and 6:30 pm – 06:30 am).

What are the mission-critical skills?
1. Maintaining all site equipment, machinery and associated services to a safe and acceptable standard.
2. Execute Planned Preventative Maintenance and provide input into improving the system
3. Provide mechanical/electrical support in the event of breakdowns
4. Work and liaise with a range of internal departments and external suppliers
5. Confirm work done into Maintenance Management System (SAP) complete with technical feedback
6. Where necessary provide input into feasibility studies, Capex and continuous improvement projects
7. Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to health and safety, environment and quality management systems
8. Prioritise workload
9. Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development
10. Liaise with stores to identify relevant and correct stock items.
11. Work within 5s methodology to maintain workplace to a high standard
12. To carry out other tasks as deemed necessary, that are within the job holder’s capability
13. The successful applicant will ideally have several years’ experience of maintenance within a continuous process control industry, and must have completed a relevant recognised apprenticeship and hold relevant electrical and mechanical qualification.
Applicants should be enthusiastic and highly self motivated with a flexible approach to their work. This will be combined with the ability to work efficiently on your own initiative, and work as part of a team. You will have a solid understanding of engineering principles and a desire to progress within the manufacturing sector. Must possess a good level of computer literacy and have excellent communication skills.
