Role Overview:
As a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in resolving complex technical issues, providing advanced support, and contributing to ongoing IT projects. You’ll act as an escalation point for 1st and 2nd line support teams, ensuring seamless IT operations and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the final point of escalation for complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
* Diagnose and resolve advanced issues related to Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, and other enterprise technologies.
* Manage and maintain virtual environments (Hyper-V).
* Support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and routers.
* Collaborate with project teams to implement new technologies and upgrades.
* Perform system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
* Work seamlessly between the office environment and the factory.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in a 3rd Line IT Support role or similar advanced technical position.
* Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2012/2016/2019), Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policy.
* Experience with Office 365 and AWS cloud services.
* Proficient in managing virtual environments (Hyper-V).
* Solid understanding of networking protocols, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills, ability to work with people from across the business.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Desirable Skills:
* Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified, ITIL, CompTIA).
* Knowledge of Linux systems and environments.
* Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
* Experience in cybersecurity protocols and tools.
