We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Process Technician (Pumping) to work out of our Maple Lodge Sewage Treatment Works Site.
As a successful candidate, your role will be to inspect, maintain, fault diagnose, test, install, modify or repair as appropriate, mechanical plant and associated electrical equipment, in a safe efficient timely and effective manner with minimum supervision.
As the Process Technician, you will find that no working day is the same. This will provide a very interesting, challenging, and rewarding working environment. You will receive full training and support for the Health & Safety, technical and process requirements related to the role.
What you’ll be doing as the Process Technician:
* Carrying out scheduled planned maintenance work on plant and equipment in compliance with company standards and procedures to improve plant resilience.
* Operating and cleaning plant and equipment to ensure on-site operational and health and safety standards are maintained.
* Attending reactive jobs following plant and equipment failure.
* Keeping sites clean and tidy and undertaking safety and security checks.
* Always working safely and complying with all Health and Safety guidance and procedures.

* Be a self-motivated individual who can immerse themselves into the team around them, with a disciplined approach and a desire to learn.
* Take ownership of responding quickly to faults, being curious to understand the problem fully, and identifying the best solution to resolve it the first time.
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with the team.
* Teamwork – We are one team, and our end goals are the same.
* Proactive – take the lead on recommendations and improvements around the site and communicate effectively.
* Must be prepared to be trained in safety procedures.
* Knowledge and awareness of health and safety standards.
* Due to the nature of the role, a full UK driving licence is essential.
