As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To support class teachers with the delivery of the curriculum and all aspects of personal and social development
* To lead the class in times of teacher absence such as a planned absence or a short-term sickness absence
* Under the direction of the class teacher, help to prepare resources and the learning environment so that pupils have the best access to learning
* To assist the class teacher in lesson planning and the creation of effective learning opportunities

* Functional Skills Level 2 in English and maths (if required)
End-Point Assessment (EPA):

Essential qualifications
GCSE or equivalent in:
* English and Maths (grade C/4 or above)
