Mortgage Administration Manager
Location: Godalming
Salary: Up to £36,000 + Bonuses
Job Description:
My client is a successful, Directly Authorised, Independent Mortgage Brokerage. The company's main aim is to provide the best and most impartial advice available to its clientele.
They are keen to hire a Mortgage Administration Team Manager (overseeing Residential and BTL mortgage cases as well as Bridging and Development Finance Loans) to join their established team based in Godalming, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Successfully lead a small team of experienced Mortgage Administrators, providing technical case administration support and development where required.
2. Oversee the allocation of case files to team members while managing your own caseload.
3. Key mortgage applications into different lenders' online systems, including Residential, BTL mortgage cases, and the specialist finance market.
4. Provide administrative support to the Mortgage Brokers.
5. Manage the client service experience through to completion, communicating with clients, lenders, and solicitors to ensure smooth progress of applications.
6. Detail all conversations and actions taken in the CRM System, and become familiar with the mortgage sourcing system used.
7. Gather original documents from clients as required by lenders.
8. Upload documents onto the system within required compliance timescales.
9. Scan file documents onto the system and ensure the final file meets compliance standards.
10. Ensure all work meets required FCA compliance standards.
11. Contact existing clients to review their circumstances and products.
12. Assist the team with any other duties as reasonably requested.
Key Candidate Attributes:
1. Extensive Mortgage Administration experience (Residential, BTL, or specialist mortgage case experience) gained within the independent market, ensuring familiarity with multiple lenders' mortgage products and online portals/platforms.
2. Preferably team leadership/management experience; alternatively, an ambitious Mortgage Administrator with a wealth of experience seeking to step up into a team leader/manager role is welcome.
3. Excellent written English skills and telephone manner, with experience in dealing with diverse clients.
4. Demonstrated technical ability and confidence with mortgage terminology.
5. Ability to demonstrate initiative and effectively time manage and prioritize cases through to completion.
6. Desire to progress in a professional and growing business.
