They have a very healthy pipeline of work and are currently looking at bringing in an individual, ideally at Associate Mechanical Engineer / Associate Director level, with the longer term view of becoming a Partner/Equity Partner. Role
* Leading and managing a team of engineers.
* Managing the mechanical design process from concept to completion.
* Collaborating with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project requirements are met.
* Developing and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and quality of mechanical systems.
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
* Managing project budgets and timelines.
* Resource management, financial planning, project planning, business development.
* Providing technical expertise and guidance to the team.
* Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members.
Qualifications / Experience
* A bachelor's or masters degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
* Chartered engineer with CIBSE or IET.
* Extensive experience in the design and installation of mechanical systems in buildings.
* Proven leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams and overseeing projects.
* Strong technical knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations related to mechanical building services.
* Excellent technical expertise in HVAC systems, plumbing, fire protection and other mechanical systems.
* Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in mechanical design and analysis.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
