What you’ll do:
* Lead and develop the EMCOR UK BAE Submarines Soft Services team through effective communication, training, and development.
* Support and manage Health, Safety and Environment processes.
* Ensure a standard approach to service delivery across the client’s estate.
* Promote the EMCOR vision, account values, and goals positively.
* Ensure Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators are met.
* Identify training and development needs assessing the competencies of employees and suppliers.
* Contribute to an effective “change management” programme for key business elements.
* Maintain day-to-day contact with the customer’s representatives and attend meetings as directed.
* Be available by telephone for queries as part of the emergency call out escalation procedure.
* Manage and operate shift call out rota.
* Ensure succession plans are in place and realistic for all direct reporting team members.
* Manage external relationships at appropriate levels.
* Organise and support team meetings and events as required.
* Accountable for the completion of standard or non-standard tasks.
* Act as part of a team to deliver activities supporting operational objectives.
* Manage a variety of tasks and plan accordingly within the short-term.
Who you’ll be:
* Support the Soft Services leadership team in day-to-day operations to ensure consistent delivery.
* Maintain records for communication, improvement, and auditing purposes.
* Secure effective customer relations and feedback.
* Participate in developing and implementing new departmental standards and procedures.
* Train, coach, develop, and motivate subordinates to meet and exceed expectations.
* Assist with rotation cleaning schedules and special cleaning projects.
* Ensure that all employees follow safety rules and procedures.
* Utilise leadership skills to maximise employee productivity and satisfaction.
* Assist with the preparation and implementation of the annual holiday plan and yearly performance appraisals.
* Report any damage or breakage of property to Help Desk.
* Monitor overtime requirements.
* Conduct all duties required from the Senior management team.
* Maintain a favourable working relationship with all other company employees.
* Establish, implement, and monitor high standards of excellence in quality, safety, and operational performance.
* Possess good people management, leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
* Be resilient under pressure and converse confidently with staff, suppliers, and customers.
* Prioritise workload within tight deadlines to a high standard.
* Adjust rapidly to changes in work demands or business needs.
* Have proven and extensive experience within a similar role.
* Plan and organise work effectively to meet changing environments and needs.
* Demonstrate skills in dealing with internal and external customers and suppliers.
* Be self-motivated and able to motivate others.
* Ensure all team members receive an annual PPP and that succession plans are current and realistic.
* Be a motivated self-starter.
