Working as part of a team of 3, you will have a broad role that is responsible for all aspects of accounts preparation. The culture is vibrant, collaborative and people centric. The company is forward thinking and focused on growth.
Responsibilities include:
1. All aspects of accounts preparation
2. Monthly management accounts preparation
3. Preparation of financial accounts
4. Payroll (monthly)
5. Budgeting and forecasting
6. Overseeing purchase and sales ledger
7. Cash forecasting and credit management
8. Management reporting and analysis
9. Assist with annual statutory accounts preparation
10. VAT returns
11. Systems and process improvement – ensuring the timely
12. Assisting with audit
13. Supporting with any other ad hoc duties
Ideal person:
You will have previous experience in a similar role.
You will be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (AAT, CIMA, ACCA).
You will be detail conscious, a self-starter, who likes to “own” your role.
You will be a team player with a can-do/solutions-focused attitude.
Integrity and confidentiality will be second nature.
You will be highly organised, able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills – both written and in person.
You will enjoy working as part of a happy and positive team.
