Purpose of Position:
Working within the Supply Chain team at the Peterborough Bretton site to create a production schedule and coordinate the material call-off requirements to our suppliers. Maintain optimum inventory levels whilst delivering KPI’s through stock-at-risk management. Commercialize new SKU’s and maintenance of SAP master data. Invoice reconciliation and site audit support.
Responsibilities: The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
* Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to Health and Safety policies and procedures.
* Production and Inventory Management: Manage the site production schedule to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery dates. Monitor inventory levels, escalate discrepancies, and maintain master data accuracy in stock management tools. Coordinate material requirements with suppliers to ensure availability for production.
* Supplier and Quality Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and the purchasing team to manage contracts and address quality issues. Support supplier and customer audits, including accreditation processes (e.g., RSPO, Fair Trade, UTZ). Manage invoice reconciliation and resolve related queries.
* Waste, Stock, and Asset Management: Oversee site waste management and pallet pooling. Address slow-moving stock with action plans and manage stock-at-risk reports. Conduct monthly stock reconciliations and resolve variances.
* Systems and Data Maintenance: Use SAP ECC and APO modules for material planning and data maintenance. Set up and maintain SAP Master Data, including fault-finding and updates. Support the commercialization process and customer-specific forecast tools.
* Logistics and Transport Coordination: Plan and oversee transport for frozen and chilled stock to 3PLs. Collaborate with the Warehouse team for physical counts, adjustments, and cycle counting.
* Environmental and Operational Reporting: Support monthly environmental reporting and nitrogen management. Provide operational support for customer credit processing and investigations.
Technical Skills & Experience:
* Supply chain experience preferred.
* Experience in working with SAP in a manufacturing context is an advantage, but full training will be given.
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills are essential for this role.
