We are looking for a pro-active and well organised individual to provide support to the Supply Chain department. The position is based in our Aberdeen office and reports to Supply Chain Manager. The successful candidate will be the focal point for supplier related activities, including effective order management and monitoring, sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring best value, supplier performance monitoring and improvement activities and internal stock and inventory control. The successful candidate will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, updating due dates in the Rubberatkins system, and expediting orders when needed. Additional tasks include tracking supplier performance, distributing scorecards, and maintaining the Approved Vendors List, while also acting as the main point of contact for supply chain queries. The role holder will ensure supplier non-conformance is addressed promptly and seek opportunities for consolidated purchasing based on trends. Ensuring the maintenance and improvement of the Rubberatkins quality systems, particularly regarding ISO 9001 compliance, is a critical responsibility to uphold the organisation's quality standards. The Ideal candidate will have high level of communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to forward plan.
