An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Campus Lead, leading, supporting, overseeing and developing every aspect of the operational delivery of total Facilities Management within an upcoming, cutting edge environment.
This campus environment is already established however it is currently going through a major transformation and redevelopment that will require a high calibre individual that can showcase talent and transitional ability.
Job Description
The Campus Lead's focus will be on setting the highest standards across all areas and services including Front of House, Curated Experience & Events, Engineering, Housekeeping, Fabric, Landscaping, Mailroom and Catering teams to ensure the delivery of an aligned, consistent, high quality service, taking into account the needs of the client, customer and colleagues.
The job holder will assume operational accountability for service delivery at our clients Northampton Campus.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, driven and hold the required focus to play a key role in developing and leading a high performing team.
They will also be expected to liaise on a frequent basis with our core client, to ensure that they are briefed on aspects of premises strategy and change initiatives which will support them in establishing and nurturing a mature and professional relationship with our key and senior stakeholders across the Northampton Campus.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with ISS Management and colleagues in the development, setting and maintenance of the corporate image of ISS across all of the company activity, including our catering partners and suppliers
* Ensure all presentational material (both printed and electronic) is of the highest standard and accurately reflects the business
* Work with the ISS Senior Leadership Team and onsite management team to develop and maintain all aspects of ISS’s offer and ensure it remains at the forefront of the industry
* Work with all parties to ensure consistent best practice in every aspect of the operation is delivered, coupled with innovation and a continued desire to improve
* Lead, manage and oversee all aspects of the day-to-day ISS operations at Northampton Campus
* Work with the management team to ensure allocation of projects, events and day to day activity is fairly allocated and provide support throughout the planning and delivery of each activity
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* To Degree or BTEC ND level in catering/hospitality/FM
* Demonstrates track record in branded operations in either retail or hospitality industries but preferably both
* Demonstrable experience of running a similar operation in terms of scale and ambition (Catering Turnover in the region of £2m per annum)
* Can demonstrate roles where has lead, motivated and developed large teams (100+) from diverse backgrounds and skills sets
* Experience working in an operational management role with financial and commercial accountability
* Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organisation, gaining and maintaining credibility with all people – clients (cross-organisation – Board Room to Boiler Room), suppliers, staff
* Requires specialist high degree of initiative, creativity
* Numerically and financially strong with a great head for control and financial success
