The Role
My client is looking for a Document Controller on a permanent basis.
Our clients Head Office is in Bedford but you will based on a client site in Milton Keynes.
The ideal candidate will have experience working as a document controller in the construction sector.
Responsibilities
Document management: Set up, copy, scan, and store documents. Create templates and manage requests for documentation.
Document audits: Conduct regular reviews and audits of documents.
Document accuracy: Ensure documents are accurate and up to date. Edit documents as needed.
Document security: Maintain confidentiality around sensitive documents.
Document distribution: Distribute project-related information to all levels of the project team.
Document storage: File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.
Document archiving: Implement and maintain a system for archiving old documents.
Document training: Provide training and support to other team members on document control processes and systems.
Document compliance: Ensure documents follow the company's standards and comply with regulations.
Project planning: Help with the planning stages of a project
