Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant (Drivers will be proritised)
Location: Plymouth
Contract Type: Full-time/Permanent
Salary: £80 to £90 per day

Duties as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
* Supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEN chidlren
* Providing one-to-one support for pupils with SEN to help them access the curriculum
* Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
* Collaborating with other staff members and parents/guardians to support pupil progress
Requirement of a SEN Teaching Assistant :
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Experience working with individuals with SEN
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
* Relevant experience in a similar role within an educational setting
* Knowledge of SEN support strategies and techniques
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual children
