You will effectively manage relationships with key stakeholders, wholesalers, regulators, and market operators, collaborating for the benefit of our customers, our people, and enhancing the reputation of the business.
What you'll do
* Represent the business at key market events and working groups, informing and guiding on topics discussed to improve outcomes for all non-household customers.
* Manage the market change process (consultation, response, review) and advise on the impact these proposed changes will have on the W2B operating model.
* Maintain and understand the company's obligations under any market codes that it might operate under including those operated by Market Operator Services Limited (“MOSL”) in England and Wales, and the Central Market Authority (“CMA”) in Scotland.
* Maintain an understanding of the company's obligations as required by any licence to operate as awarded by Ofwat or WICS or any other legal requirement placed upon the business.
* Review and optimise (in conjunction with relevant departments) the Market Performance Charges, reviewing processes and reducing them over time.
* Develop and maintain the company's risk register and ensure that there is an organisational focus on the meaningful identification and mitigation of risk.
* Obtain and maintain organisational accreditations (in particular ISO 9001), including the management of any required audit programme, engaging with key stakeholders to plan appropriately, highlighting risks and opportunities to the SLT.
* Effectively manage resource and employee engagement to ensure you have a high performing team capable of completing the growing workload within expected timelines.
* Live the company values and set a positive example for the business in demonstrating leadership behaviours.

* Have the ability to suitably challenge other members of the management team.
