Job Summary: As a Spray Painter, you will prepare, mask, and apply paint to a variety of fabricated metal products, ensuring a high-quality finish. Key Duties: Read and assess production information for specification details. Set up and maintain spraying equipment, ensuring materials are mixed correctly. Perform masking procedures, apply primer and main coats. Conduct quality control checks. Clean and maintain spraying equipment. Perform paint rectification's and measurements. Inspect and clean tools, equipment, and work areas. Safely dispose of waste materials and operate machinery safely. Knowledge and Experience: NVQ 3 or City & Guilds qualification or equivalent. Strong literacy and numeracy skills. Excellent attention to detail and colour matching abilities. Good hand-to-eye coordination and ability to follow written instructions. Knowledge of coatings, finishes, and surface preparation. Safety-conscious approach with hazard control understanding.
