The Role
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Theatre and Venue Technician to join our team. This role is integral to the smooth running of performances, events and venue operations. You will be responsible for technical set ups, maintenance, design of lighting and sound along with operations on productions.
About You
The ideal candidate will have a proven knowledge of theatrical sound and lighting, programming digital sound and lighting systems, setting up and dismantling theatre productions. They must have excellent organisational and team-working skills to work effectively with members of the technical team to schedule and deliver large scale events and productions e.g. pantomime.
The Albert Halls is a theatre/entertainment complex which has re-opened following a £6.5 million refurbishment. You will be part of a diverse and multi-skilled team and will benefit from working in a modern state of the art environment with full training and support. The theatre programme is developing rapidly so the Albert Halls Complex will prove to be an exciting and continually evolving place to work.
