About the Team

Warwickshire County Council and partners are pleased to offer a range of opportunities to support the delivery of the Coventry and Warwickshire WorkWell programme. The programme is set to launch in October 2024 and will offer new joint mental health and employment support services across Coventry and Warwickshire.
The Coventry and Warwickshire WorkWell Programme is a partnership funded by DWP. The partnership consists of the ICB (Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board), Warwickshire County Council, Coventry City Council, Public Health, and a range of healthcare services.
The programme works with young people and adults with mental health support needs and is designed to support individuals who have been recently diagnosed with a mental health condition and want to gain or sustain employment.
The WorkWell programme offers a needs-led service, with a range of 1:1 and group support available, tailored to meet individual needs.
Working with a range of employment and healthcare services, participants will be supported to overcome barriers and move forward in their journey to gain or sustain employment.
The support the WorkWell programme offers is broad, and while we work with many cohorts of young people and adults with mental health needs, the team also works with Coventry and Warwickshire employers to shape inclusive jobs and demonstrate the effectiveness of reasonable adjustments in the workplace. The programme is designed to effectively highlight how such small changes could improve the mental health of their workforce and positively impact future recruitment campaigns, creating a more inclusive working environment.
The programme is due to offer a range of roles, calling for individuals with specific mental health and employment support experience and the vision to work holistically with every person they support.
As a new partnership that sees health and employment support join as one collaborative service, we are looking to build a highly skilled team that is creative, solution-focused, and has a good understanding of the local employment support and mental health offer.
About the Role
The role of the WorkWell Journey Guide is one with a specific focus on leading and shaping individual support plans that contain unique and positive actions. Every plan created identifies and creates a positive output for everyone who participates in the programme.

9. Monitor the needs and outcomes of the WorkWell programme, evaluate reoccurring themes, and design activities that could enhance the individual's journey to work.
10. Proactively promote the service to future employers and individuals with mental health support needs.
11. Ensure transparent and accurate records are kept and good communication is provided to parents/carers and other associated support teams.
12. Deliver caseload and progress reviews to strategic partners, funders, and senior managers.
13. Work with Project officers, Employment Support advisors, and programme managers to ensure collective outcomes meet the objectives of the team and funded programme outputs.
14. Work with the management team and Employment Support Advisors to oversee the work of project officers and apprentices where appropriate.
