HRLife are delighted to be working with a hugely successful, values-led, manufacturing business who are looking for a Head of HR for a 12-month FTC. This is a superb opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a site based senior leadership team, managing a small but high performing HR team, covering a broad generalist remit and thriving in a fast-paced, unionised environment.
Working closely with the site business leaders and their teams this will be a hands-on role supporting all people-related activities during an exciting time of change, helping implement people solutions that ultimately support the wider business goals.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Supporting and implementing the global HR Strategy
* Providing proactive business partnering services to the SLT
* Maintaining positive working relationship with the Union
* Driving performance improvement
* Supporting talent management – talent reviews, succession planning, compensation reviews
* Leading employee engagement activities
* Fostering good employee relations
Previous experience gained in a highly commercial, fast-paced, unionised manufacturing business will be essential for this role and the ability to think strategically as well as rolling your sleeves up will be pivotal to your success.
In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate:
* Excellent leadership, people management and project management skills
* Strong ER and IR experience
* Previous experience of managing a team
* Excellent interpersonal skills
Based Banbury, North Oxfordshire. Hybrid working – 3 days in the office
Up to £80k plus car allowance and bonus
